Guidelines by battery type
Please note that, because many of our products contain batteries of various compositions, care must be taken when shipping product back to us. It is important that all personnel responsible for such shipments be properly trained and conversant with all relevant DOT regulations.
We occasionally receive return shipments that are not compliant with DOT regulations. This creates a number of issues for us and potentially you, the most serious of which is the potential for fire due to a failure to comply with packaging requirements. It is in both of our interests to ensure such non-compliant shipments do not take place.
