  1. I see everything here about this jump starter except how to get one…. I do a lot of snow plowing – sometimes from early morning to late at night almost non-stop – with two rigs here in Fairbanks Alaska and have to use a jump starter pretty regularly. You selling them or not? I had $100+ NOCO unit for a while that was supposed to be the best of the best and it didn’t last even a year so I recycled it. Then I got a pretty compact $70(?) unit from Costco that works every time and will start my faltering plow rig 6x on one charge – no surprise there. And I use batteries with a lot of CCA’s so when they falter, they need a serious kick in the ass to get the rig started. I’d like to try one of yours for my larger plow rig. If it’s as good as you say it is I’ll brag it up widely and keep it under my pillow at night…..

    1. Richard – Thanks for adding to the discussion. The JNC325 is a quality jump starter that packs a lot of power, yet is very safe (approved to meet UL2743 safety requirements). Of course, we also have even more power units, like our JNC1242, which delivers 850 Cranking Amps in 12V mode. Our products are available from thousands of physical and online reseller locations, including NAPA, Carquest, Auto Value, Bumper to Bumper, Independent Auto Parts Stores, most mobile tool dealers, Amazon and many other online resellers. Not all locations carry all products, so it’s always best to call ahead. Most locations, even if they don’t have a specific item on hand, can get an item in within 2-3 days. 2. I know how cold it gets up there, I spent 18 months at Eielson AFB in 1969-70. I remember the electrical hookups to plug your vehicles into in wintertime, so they didn’t freeze up solid! I had heaters for the block, interior, and battery. Good luck to you.

  2. It would have been nice to know what it costs and where it can be purchased. Why the mystery on the cost of this? Is it so expensive that you are afraid to disclose the cost?

    1. Roger – We are sorry for the confusion. We don’t sell our products directly to users, except for replacement parts. We sell our products through our distribution network, which ultimately determines the final product price. As a result, we don’t publish pricing on our site. 3. In reality how does it stack up vs other similar products. I know i am asking for an honest evaluation and i hope you are customer caring enough to tell us the truth. We do not mind spending good hard earned money on quality and the top of the line products but we need answers and truth. Many can claim they produce the best product but in reality is it junk and how do we really know? We trusted you on the past do not let us down.

    1. James – Thanks for your question. That’s a tough question to answer, in the sense that, of course, we are biased. So, it’s tough to respond and not sound like marketing speak. So, I’ll stick to the facts. First, our JNC325 delivers 450 Start Assist Amps of power. We don’t focus on Peak Amps, since, a.) peak amps don’t start vehicles and, b.) it is such an abused term that it is virtually useless when trying to compare one unit to another. Most competitive units won’t provide another rating because the number would be too small. Second, our unit can start most V8 engine vehicles in -10˚F temperatures (our JNC345 can do so at -23˚F temperatures). Again, few competitors can or will make such a claim, because their units simply can’t meet such a performance standard. Third, our units are agency certified to meet UL2743 safety requirements, the gold standard for lithium jump starter safety. Again, there are many units out there without this important safety accreditation (which would cause us to avoid those units). Finally, we have tens of thousands of these units in the field over the four years we have been producing it and an extremely low warranty rate on it. I think all of these factors speak to the, the build quality, starting performance, safety and unit longevity of our lithium units. I hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks, Jim from Clore Automotive
