“For the past 5 years or more, I have found that the PL2310 battery charger outperforms all others in the marketplace. As a fisherman, hunter and businessman, I have been able to utilize this charger multiple times on all sorts of equipment – either one of my three boats, four trucks and, most recently, a Side-by-Side (a Can-Am that keeps losing its battery charge).
I have now purchased 3 of these fine units and, no matter the battery type, Standard Flooded, Gel Cell* or AGM, this charger has allowed me to either bring back completely dead batteries (as long as the outer shell was not damaged) or return the battery to 100%.
The function key that allows for a look at the battery’s current “Charge Percentage” is most helpful and allows me to select the charge rate to finally get the battery back to 100%.
Unfortunately, I am having to replace one of the 3 units, as while charging the Side-by-Side overnight, I neglected to tell my wife that on the far side (out of view) the charger was plugged in to an outside outlet. Neither the cord, nor the PRO-LOGIX unit could be seen when she cranked up the Can-Am (as the battery was now “Charged & Ready”) and proceeded to back out of the garage. The backing action pulled loose the two charging clips and she accidently ran over the “wonderfully working charger.”
In the meantime, to replace the damaged unit, I have since bought 2 brand new PRO-LOGIX units from our local ABC Auto Parts here in Tyler, Texas. Plans are to keep one safely stored at the office, one at home and one in the boat house, away from any Can-Am wheels.”
