JNC660 Powers the Pump

Jerry Fric saved his basement from flooding with help from the JNC660.

“About 10 years ago, when I had a Snap-on dealership in Naperville, IL, there was a rainstorm of 17 inches in a 24 hour period. My sump pumps (2) were straining to keep up. Power died. I went into my Snap-on truck and grabbed some flashlights and 4 JNC660s (I had about 10 on the truck). I ran down to the pumps and put 2 each of the 660’s in parallel to the pumps. This got them going again before the water spilled over in my sump pit.

I ran back to my truck and fired up the generator and plugged in the other 6 JNC660s to my outlets to fully charge them (I did not have an extension cord long enough to get to my sumps in the basement). Every 15 minutes or so, I would swap out 2 units and keep charging the others in rotation. I did this for 6 hours and only had about 1/2 inch of water seep thru. All my neighbors had 4 to 6 feet of water and wrecked their basements!”
