“I have been doing automotive repairs for my company with a count as high as 13 vehicles for 35 years and on my own vehicles for my whole life. Jump starts with cables and lack of them when not available prompted me to order a jump pack I could carry along in vehicles with questionable battery or charging issues. As in a 2017 Subaru with arbitrary non start issues.
When finding Clore Automotive and looking for the correct model for my needs, I decided to go with the Truck PAC ES6000, despite the additional cost. The reason being that my son works with a friend on the farm and both own and use tractors with exceedingly high horsepower. And with any farmers, tractors are prone to dead and weak batteries as well as wiring issues that are, let’s say, expedient but not very dependable.
So, I justified the additional cost and went with the ES6000. We have been using it for years now with excellent results, jumping just about anything you can imagine. Cars, trucks up to road tractors, backhoes, lawn mowers, etc. In every case, the Truck PAC has performed 100%, except when the operators fail to charge it AFTER EVERY USE, as stated on the unit.
It is an outstanding product and the Clore Automotive emails reminding us to charge it in cycles and other topics are very helpful. One last plug for the unit. My son was jumping a pickup just this week and didn’t have the unit on a good spot on the radiator support and of course it fell off in a hay field.
The only damage to the unit was the negative holster broke off the side. It started the truck right up.
