We’ve touched on this topic once before, but it bears a revisit, we believe. In this case, Michael from Utah recounts the tale of programming a used module on a Nissan Juke. In this case, everything was going along fine until it was time to relearn the keys and mate them to the new module. It was at this point, the wheels came off.
Even after cloning the data from the original module to the used module, key relearning was still unsuccessful. After the unsuccessful retry, Michael himself went to the shop to take over for his tech on this tricky repair. Once he was there, he knew right away that the key was never going to relearn in its current state.
