In this useful post, Michael from Texas shows how he resolved a malfunctioning entertainment hub on a BMW 3 320i. He addresses those steps that failed to resolve the problem before identifying the ultimate fix. In the process, he was able to avoid the cost of a replacement unit. As noted by several commenters, this is one that often gets sent back to the dealer and results in a full replacement cost.
