SOLAR Carbon Pile Battery Tester Model 1876 delivers accurate, reliable variable load testing of 6, 12 and 24 Volt batteries to 2000 CCA for busy dealerships, repair shops and fleet service environments. Its ability to test batteries and systems in three different voltages makes it ideal for use in mixed fleet service environments.

Delivering a load up to 1000 amps, the 1876 enables quick, conclusive testing of batteries to 2000 CCA. Simply connect to the battery to be tested, load it to half its rated CCA and hold the load for 15 seconds, observing the battery’s voltage. It’s that simple. In addition, it allows for easy assessment of starting system draw and alternator output for 6, 12 and 24 Volt systems, changing its voltage calibration with the turn of a knob.
