This time around, we’re venturing a little further afield from our normal electrical system topics, but we think it is well worth it. Ward from Saskatoon posted a great tip to the iATN Technical Tips Forum on how to convert an oil filter to enable it to be used to test system pressure. As he and others in the thread point out, system designs often make it difficult to access critical components such as oil pressure sensors, so he devised this workaround that eliminates the need to get to those buried components. Just another great example of the amazing ingenuity to be found by a professional who contributes to iATN. Here’s how he did it:
