We return once more to Bob from Massachusetts (he’s on a serious roll with great case studies!), who shared a tricky diagnosis on a “no communication” 2016 F-350 Super Duty. The funny thing is, the vehicle operated fine (apparently), but when taken to an inspection station in order to renew its inspection sticker, it would not communicate with the inspection machine. This created a big problem for the owner and was unable to be resolved after several attempts. Bob managed to resolve the issue, which involved some of our common topics like CAN bus diagnostics and grounding issues. How he got there is worth the read, as it might save you some hassle down the road if you are in a similar situation. Check the full story by clicking the image.
